Day # 224

Sunday, June 25

We stayed in Nashville this weekend and headed to Kristin, Todd, Carson, and Dylann's house. Todd and Carson love to go to the field behind their house and catch fireflies. Charlie saw fireflies when he lived there, but that was when he was much smaller. Carson had to teach him how to catch them. Carson is really good at catching the fireflies, he can even catch regular flies with this hands.

The boys had a ball. Carson insisted in taking the jar with holes cut out on the top to his bed that night. Charlie really enjoyed learning how to catch bugs. He still talks about the fun he had at Carson's house!

Day # 220

Wednesday, June 21

Today we headed to Nashville for Karen's wedding. Charlie really got a kick out of riding on the big airplane. He was very good and carried his own backpack packed with lots of things to do. He also had plenty of treats, including Nerds, which he loves.

Charlie made himself right at home (maybe too much) when the Southwest pilot asked him if he'd like to sit up in the cockpit. Will did great, considering his age. The flight attendants just loved him. He was carried all around the plane with one of them. The flight crew was really accomodating and helped me so much during the trip.

Day # 217

Sunday, June 18

Today is Fathers Day. Sorry Chuck couldn't be with us, but we did manage to get a package out to him. We bought him a SlingBox. It allows him to access our tv from there. Yes, he can change the channels on our tv at home. We are looking forward to watching tv "together" at night.

We had dinner with Kathy, Travis, Sally, Mack, Anna Kate, Susan and Mike. The kids all played well together. Travis was our guest of honor.

Day # 203

Sunday, June 4

We discovered a new place for the kids near my parents house. It is a wonderful beachlike entry pool with waterslides. You can eat and drink by the pool and there are special things for the kids, too. Charlie loves the clown that puts temporary tatoos on you and makes balloon animals. Christine, Jack and Tyler went with us today. Christine, Chris and Jack were the only ones who were able to do the big waterslide. Charlie kept saying he wanted to go down the big one, but he wouldn't even go down the little one.

Day # 202

Saturday, June 3

Today is grandad's birthday. We decided to make brownies today and the boys both really enjoyed licking the beaters. Will got a little messy!
