Day # 201

Friday, June 2

Today we went to see Kristi, Mike, Kenan and Oliver. Charlie loved playing with Kenan and really enjoyed playing with all new toys. One of his favorites was Kenan's digger..

Charlie was also luck enough to be invited to join in on Kenan's swim lesson. He did better than a lot of the kids because he just finished swim lessons of his own. He still doesn't like to put his head underwater though.

Later that evening Mike joined us for dinner. We had a great Mexican meal. Will started drinking from a straw at the restaurant.

Thursday, June 1

Charlie, Will, Boo and I took the boys to an indoor playplace today. Here is a picture of Will on a rope swing.

Saturday, May 27

It was another average day with the grandparents. That's Charlie up there in the "Champ" with Gammy and Cappy flying over Boo and Granddad's house.

Friday, May 26

Today we went blueberry picking at the farm near my parent's house. Usually we go without the kids, but we thought this year Charlie might enjoy it. He had a great time picking them. He couldn't stop eating them straight off the bush. Will even loved eating the freshly picked berries. I think we ended up with 21 pounds this year.

Wednesday, May 24

These were shots from Charlie's last day of swim lessons. He has been taking swimming lessons this month with Ben and Garrett. His teacher says that he can flutter kick and float on his back with help. He even knows how to use a kick board. Charlie is slowly getting more and more comfortable in the water. He still doesn't like to get his face or head wet though.

Saturday, May 20

Well Will's actual birthday on the 18th came and went without much excitement. We decided it would be better to gather family together on the weekend. Kathy, Travis, Sally, Mack and Anna Kate met us at our neighborhood park to celebrate Will's first birthday. I brought drinks and chocolate cupcakes for the kids. Will absolutely loved his first cupcake and Charlie ate the icing off of his.
