Day # 124

Thursday, March 16...Charlie's first visit to the dentist.

The waiting room resembled an elaborate gameroom complete with a horse ride, video games and a great Thomas the Tank Engine table. Here he is all smiles, he has no idea what is waiting for him behind the next door.

Next the hygenist takes Charlie back and shows him his chair and the big light that is going to be shining down on him as he gets his teeth cleaned. Then she hands him a pair of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle sunglasses for him to wear during the procedure. He was fascinated by everything around him.

Charlie opened wide as she cleaned his teeth. He got a great check-up. He is missing a tooth, which we hope will come in with the rest of his adult teeth. He also has an underbite, hopefully this will resolve, too, when his permanent teeth emerge. The only time he cried was at the end when he didn't get the toy he wanted out of the gumball machine.
