Day # 120

It was another busy weekend. My parents came for a visit and to help around the house. My dad and I finished up making some plant beds in the backyard and he spread some fertilizer. It has been fun getting the yard up to speed, but a lot of work.

Saturday night we had Susan and Mike's engagement party at Kathy and Travis' house. It was a lot of fun getting to meet Mike's family. We stayed out way too late, but not as late as your parents. Sounds like they closed down the party around 2:30 am. Then everyone reconvened over brunch on Sunday to celebrate your mom's birthday and mine.

Later on Sunday, Scott, Monique, Jack, and Ben came over to help me celebrate my birthday again with my mother. They brought over BBQ and all the fixin's. The boys had a great time playing on the new playscape in the back yard. Monique made a wonderful cake, too. There is never a dull moment around here these days.
